Kayaking Milford Sound and Lakes Te Anau & Manapouri

Experience New Zealand's rivers from the best seat in the house ...a kayak. Kayaking accesses remote river portions, not easily fished otherwise. Kayaking is certainly a spectacular way to access those remote fishing areas, where the likelihood of seeing others fishing is minimal. We offer guided kayaking trips spanning single to multiple days. Boats, equipment and all safety gear are provided by KRR.

Multi-day

Single overnight - Lake Te Anau
     
  • Day 1 - Paddle up to a great camp site, camp prepared by your guide, enjoy a spot of fishing then watch the setting sun sink below the Southern Alps.
  • Day 2 - Start the day with a bit of 'camp breaky', coffee / tea as prepared by your guide. Camp is broken after breakfast and group embarks to complete our paddle before returning via Fiordland Travel's Fiordland Express
No experience is required! Paddling instruction will be given by a certified tutor/guide and all equipment will be provided for you.
